You can get 1k anima a week just by doing LFR. And if you are max renown next week, one of the weeklies gives an extra 500 anima.

I haven't played WoW since 2011 but these new cartoons and the comments below all seem to indicate I made the right choice by leaving.... yikes.
Yeah... thats pretty much it. I'll wait untill its not quite that grindy.
This expansion is hot garbage. I think most people are so used to the artifact power grind they havent realized anima is more like garrison resources and our covenants are just garrisons with buildings that take longer to upgrade and require more grinding to do so. Anima is a useless like very important resource it will take a year to grind all we need but half the end game content doesnt offer any reward (the maw, torghast, callings) while at expansions end anima will be a completely useless resource the way they have it drip feeding in is just prolonging what was short lived in WoD. SL really is WoD 2.0 they just added a less rewarding version of island expeditions (torghast)

Blizzard is always one step ahead: instead of lessening the grinding, during ages they made you have servant to grind for you while you grind somewhere else. It will cause a split personality problem in time though: is that char you or the char that works for you? :) :) :)
